Just over 25-hundred BC Hydro customers will be without power today (May 11) as crews perform Emergent work.

The Cariboo Regional District has issued a Boil Water Notice and a Water Quality Advisory in the Russet Bluff area because of high concentration levels of manganese.

The 108 Mile Water System has been shutoff until 4 p.m. today, April 8, while maintenance is ongoing. The Cariboo Regional District advises residents in the area that there will be a Boil Water Advisory in effect when water service is restored.

BC Hydro crews were busy today (Oct 23) as more than two thousand customers in the Cariboo were without power at one point.

A tree falling on power lines along Sales Road West in Quesnel cut power to residents in the area and along Red Bluff Road.
