District of 100 Mile House increases watering restrictions effective immediately

The District of 100 Mile House is increasing its restricting water usage effective immediately.

Residents in the area will only be allowed to water their yards twice in 12-hour periods on specific days.

Starting July 25, even-numbered properties can only water or use a sprinkler on Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., and then again from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

All odd-numbered properties can only water or sprinkle on Sundays within the same time frames of 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The District says properties with multiple units must use the units’ individual property numbers to determine which days it is allowed to water.
