Grants-in-Aid deadline extended in Williams Lake

The City of Wililams Lake is extending their deadline for local non-profit organizations to get their applications in for their annual Grants-in-Aid.

Cindy Bouchard Director of Legislative Services for the city explains the reason behind the extension.

“With the fires and everything we kinda got a bit behind and we weren’t able to get our ads in so we decided that we’ll give an extension of a couple of weeks and give everybody time to get their applications for the grants in aid in”.

The deadline has been extended to 4:30 on monday october 16th.

Hard copies of the application form can be picked up at City Hall in Williams Lake and more information on the Grants-in-Aid can be found on the city’s website.

The Grants-in- Aid for local non-profit organizations are for projects, activities and events that strengthen and enhance the well being of the community, promote volunteerism and support the goals and priorities of the City of Williams Lake.
