Williams Lake RCMP has seen an increase in impaired drivers in and around the City.
In the past seven days, Corporal Madonna Saunderson says Police have conducted three investigations for impaired driving and will be submitting them to BC Prosecution Service for charge approval.
Police say when making plans to include a safe ride home as the risks are always high, and the results are sometimes deadly.
Saunderson says there is never an excuse to drive while impaired and that Williams Lake RCMP continues enforcement efforts targeting impaired driving.
