Do-More Promotional leaves behind 11 years of creating memories & helping the community

After 11 years of serving Williams Lake and surrounding area Do-More Promotional officially closed their doors on Friday August 14.

Owner Nancy Dron said in those 11 years they received a lot support from the communities that they offered their unique brand of custom printing and engraving to.

“We tried as hard as we could over the years to give back for the support that they had shown us and keeping our organizations and kids, especially sports, trying to keep them accessible and affordable. We did a lot of work within the surrounding communities all the way out west to Bella Coola. We worked with organizations in and around the 100 Mile area, even as far north as Quesnel and sometimes even Prince George.”

One way Do-More Promotional showed their appreciation was through their annual Pink Shirt Day sales.

“We created custom pink shirts for Anti-Bullying with the proceeds of that going back to our local non-profit youth groups Williams Lake Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Club and the Foundry,” Dron said.

She added in those 11 years they tried really hard to work with each individual customer that came in whether it was a big job for a company or organization, or if it was a small job for someone’s birthday, Christmas idea, that sort of thing.

“We tried to work hard with each individual customer to make sure that we got their job exactly the way they imagined it and it was fun to see those ideas come to life.”

Being a paramedic and business owner went into the decision why Dron had to decide which of the two she wanted to continue to pursue.

“I’ve done both the business Monday to Friday and then the paramedic on the weekend and as I get older my kids get older. It was one of the reasons why I decided to make this difficult decision, it was a hard decision to make. My passion has always been in helping people in the Ambulance so this was something that I just needed to do for myself.”

Dron said she is looking forward to actually having days off, spending time with friends and family, and doing a little bit of travelling.

“Firstly I want to thank everyone so much who supported us and gave us their time and their projects and let us just run with it, it’s been an incredible experience over the last 11 years. From businesses to people who had personal things made I just want to thank each and every person that has stepped foot through our door over the years. I especially want to send a huge shout out to the people behind the scenes that made this work for me and that is all my employees. There have been a lot of people along the way who have backed me and have made this place successful.”
