Williams Lake residents can enjoy some Christmas festivities on Saturday, December 2nd.
Downtown Williams Lake will be hosting the Winter Lights Festival throughout the day, with downtown businesses having family friendly activities from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
Event Coordinator, Amanda Fuller says The day will continue with a parade.
“We have our parade going through Downtown at 5:00pm on Saturday.
“It’s going to start at 7th and Borland, just behind Save-on-Foods, travel down 7th, turn onto Oliver Street and then travel all the way down Oliver Street to 1st Avenue.”
Fuller added that this year will have 20 participants, along with a special guest from the North Pole.
Directly after the parade until 8:00pm, there will be a community event in the Limelight Theatre at 178 Oliver Street, which will have caroling, crafts, hot drinks and cookies.
