Quesnel Rodeo Students Compete At Nationals

A tough start for a Quesnel student at the National High School Rodeo Finals in Gillette, Wyoming.

Tyler Cherry was bucked off in the Bull Riding this (July 19) morning.

He’ll get another shot on Thursday.

Two more Quesnel competitors will be in action in tonight’s draw.

Denton Spiers will be in action in the Bull Riding and his brother Dustin will be in the Tie Down Roping.

Dustin took a no time in the Team Roping last night, along with his partner Derek Hadland.

Mariah Mannering, who placed 9th out of 30 in her section of Pole Bending yesterday is now sitting 29th overall out of 117 who have times so far.

Mariah will have her second run on Friday morning.
