South Cariboo residents are feeling the burn of having a campfire while there is ongoing campfire bans across the Cariboo.

Police attended the scene of a vehicle collision in the 108 Mile Ranch area that sent one person to hospital.

Interior Health as ordered the closure of the pool, hot tubs, and restaurant, including the contenintal breakfast, at the Spruce Hills Resort and Spa in 108 Mile Ranch effective immediately. Interior Health says in a statement the concerns are due to public health risks and contraventions with the BC Public Health Act and Drinking Water Protection Acts.

A man and a woman were arrest by the 100 Mile House RCMP for resisting arrest, obstruction, and attempting to flee, during an impaired driving stop. The man and woman were released with driving prohibitions and pending charges.
