A motor vehicle accident sent one person to the hospital in the 108 Mile Ranch area.
Sergeant Brian Lamb says the 100 Mile House RCMP were called to the scene of the accident on April 25, located on Telqua Drive. BC Emergency Health Services and local Fire Rescue were also at the scene.
“Investigators found a vehicle had struck a utility pole and a fire hydrant,” says Lamb. “The single occupant of the vehicle was injured and transported to the hospital for further treatment.”
Lamb added that the occupant had non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the collision and believe that alcohol was a factor.
