Sargent Brian Lamb said on Saturday (March 23) they were called out to the incident involving a commercial vehicle on the 7000 block of Highway 97.
When Police arrived they located a semi-truck with a container trailer that lost its load on the Highway after hitting a curb in the area.
Lamb added the contents of the trailer which were mostly food items were thrown from the trailer onto the roadway.
There were no injuries and traffic flow had some minor disruption while the area was cleared.
That same day Lamb said police received a report of a vehicle collision on Highway 97 Near Canim Hendrix Road.
When they arrived Lamb said police spoke with a driver of one of the vehicles who said he was following a Black Dodge truck heading south bound when a sheet of plywood flew out of the truck box striking his vehicle.
The truck did not stop and Lamb said it may have sped away to avoid fault.
There was extensive damage to the vehicle that was hit but no reported injuries.
