100 Mile House and area residents will be seeing temporary changes to the emergency department hours at 100 Mile District General Hospital.
Interior Health said emergency services will be unavailable from 6:00pm tonight (March 19th), to 7:00am on Wednesday, March 20th.
Due to limited nursing availability, they ask anyone in need of emergency services to access care at the Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake.
Those needing life-threatening emergency care such as chest pains, difficulty breathing, and severe bleeding, should call 9-1-1 for transport to the nearest available and appropriate facility.
All other inpatient services will continue as normal at 100 Mile District General Hospital.
