Thousands of dollars raised in the Cariboo for McHappy Day

McDonalds across Canada held their annual McHappy Day yesterday (May 10th) to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House.

For Williams Lake and Quesnel, the total money raised would be split with their local Child Development Centres as well.

Jonathan Metcalfe, Owner of Williams Lake and Quesnel McDonalds, said that it was a successful McHappy day for both communities.

Quesnel raised a total of $5,260.09, giving $2,630.05 to the Quesnel CDC and the Ronald McDonald House.

Williams Lake raised $5,516.24, with Williams Lake CDC and Ronald McDonald House receiving $2,758.12.
