Big Weekend Coming up for the Wranglers

The 100 Mile Wranglers have a busy weekend ahead, as they will be playing three straight games.

Two of the three games, today and Saturday (October 21st and 22nd), will be on the road with Sunday’s game (October 23rd) back home.

“It is going to be a busy weekend with going on the road in North Okanagan and in Chase, then travelling late after Chase to play a 1:00pm game here at home on Sunday.” says Dale Hladun, Head Coach and General Manager of the 100 Mile House Wranglers.

“We’re gonna have to make sure we’re feeding them right and fueling them up, and get them ready for three games in a row.”

On Wednesday, the Wranglers hosted the Kamloops Storm, where they picked up a 3-2 win, bringing their record up to 2-6-0.

Kayden Stark, Nathan Bohmer, and Memfis Burgeson were the ones who tallied the three goals, with Tysen Smith saving 27 of 29 shots (.931 SV%)

Hladun added that the Wranglers will be a nice story to tell by the end of the year, as he feels the players are moving in the right direction.

The Wranglers will visit the 4-5-0 North Okanagan Knights at 7:15pm, with tomorrows game against the 2-5-0-1 Chase Heat at 7:00pm. Sunday, the team will hit the ice against the 5-3-1 Grand Forks Border Bruins.
