A Supreme Court Jury has found 26-year old Kyle Tyler Gilpin guilty on the lesser charge of Manslaughter.
He was also found not guilty of Obstructing Justice.
The trial lasted several weeks.
Gilpin is due back in court on November 15th to fix a date for sentencing.
Alexis Creek RCMP were called to the Redstone reserve back on October 19th of 2018.
Upon arrival, police discovered the body of an adult male.
