A 65-year-old man is dead following a collision between a pedestrian and a pick-up truck in 100 Mile House.
RCMP say they responded to an accident at the four-way stop on First Street and Birch Avenue on Friday afternoon just after 3:30.
Police say it is alleged that the driver of a pickup was making a left turn onto First Street when his vehicle struck the man and knocked him to the ground.
The driver stopped immediately and remained on scene in an attempt to render assistance.
RCMP say the victim was taken to 100 Mile and District Hospital with injuries to his head and leg.
He succumbed to his injuries.
An investigation into the incident continues.
