Dugan Lake Accessible Trail Officially Opens

An accessible trail near 150 Mile House Officially opened Friday morning.

Willie Sellars with the Williams Lake Indian Band (WLIB) says he is extremely pleased of the Dugan Lake Accessible Trail, which was built in partnership between the WLIB, Cariboo Regional District, NDIT, Cariboo Chilcotin Beetle Action Coalition, and the provincial government.

“We were involved right from the beginning. We did the project through a variety of partners.”

“It was good to see everyone come together on not only a regional level but a local level as well.”

The close to 1-kilometer trail which has a gentle grade with one steeper section is located approximately 24 kilometers east of Williams Lake on the Horsefly Lake Road, about 2.5km past the junction of the Horsefly and Likely Roads.
