A found stolen Corvette leads to an arrest and recovery of loaded guns

A stolen Corvette and much more led to the arrest of a person in 100 Mile House.

100 Mile House RCMP say they were originally conducting a search of a property in the 6000 Block of Houseman Road on Oct. 11. Police found a 2012 Chevrolet Corvette that had been reported stolen earlier from a residence on Perkins Road.

Police say while searching, they found drugs suspected to be Methamphetamine, as well as two loaded firearms, and made an arrest at the scene.

Police say the owner of the Corvette has been notified, and the car has been removed from the property.
