Quesnel is gearing up for junior B hockey this weekend.
The West Fraser Centre will be the site of a couple of games, both involving the Kamloops Storm of the Kootenay International League.
The 100 Mile House Wranglers will provide the opposition on Friday night.
Matt Kolle is part of a group trying to bring a team to Quesnel…
“The weekend provides a forum for the community of Quesnel to demonstrate to everybody out there that this city deserves a junior B hockey team. It’s a great forum for the fans to see what the hockey is.”
Kolle says it terms of organizing the event, they’re ready.
Roughly 450 tickets have been sold for each game so far.
The games, on Friday and Saturday night, start at 7 o’clock.
