RCMP Say Winter Is Here So Slow Down !

Quesnel RCMP spent the morning responding to multiple accidents.

Curt Banse, Unit Commander for Traffic in Quesnel, says motorists aren’t responding well to the winter weather…

“We had that little teaser of a snowfall a couple of weeks ago and we had hoped that people would get the message that winter is pretty much here so we’re cautioning them and everybody to slow down, make sure that they got their winter tires on and to take notice of the change of conditions.”

Banse says they have attended a number of rollovers and fender benders, but fortunately nothing really serious so far.

He says one area that is a concern is the Dragon Lake Hill.
