A date for a Pretrial Conference has been set for a father and son, charged in connection with an alleged online drug-selling operation that was based out of Quesnel.
30-year old Travis James Gaudette and 55-year old Darryl Arthur Gaudette will be back in court in Prince George on July 31st of next year.
Both are facing numerous charges, including Importation of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.
RCMP say a package containing 500 grams of Butylone was intercepted by the Canadian Border Service Agency back in June of 2013.
Police say it originated in China and was destined for an address in Quesnel.
Two males were arrested at that residence.
A search warrant was executed and RCMP says a variety of drugs were seized.
Investigators believe that the suspects were using a website to advertise and sell a wide variety of controlled substances to buyers across Canada.
RCMP say 84 drug samples were sent to the Health Canada Lab for analysis some of which had not previously been seen.
