The Cariboo gardening season will kick off tomorrow with an annual event in Williams Lake.
Food Action Coordinator with the Williams Lake Food Policy Council Michelle Daymond, says the 7th Annual Seedy Saturday is a great way to support local growers and vendors.
“We have right now registered over 25 vendors from throughout the Cariboo are coming to sell and swap seeds, seedlings, handmade garden tools, compost, garden decorations.”
“You name it if it’s related to gardening, somebody is going to be there.”
The event, which will also celebrate the 5th Birthday for Cariboo Growers runs from 10am-2pm at Herb Gardner Park.
