An outstanding pair of games over the weekend has catapulted a Williams Lake native to the upper echelon of varsity women’s hockey.
Five assists in two games saw Julia Flinton lead her U-Sask Huskies club to two wins and further distance herself from the pack in defenseman scoring.
Her seventeen points in eighteen games leads all CIS defensemen by seven and puts her eighth in total points across Canada.
