Win streak comes to an end for Quesnel boxer

It was a rare loss for a Quesnel boxer at Rumble #30 on Saturday night.

Brityn Carter lost a split decision to Kerowna Hamilton from Edmonton, an opponent she had beaten before.

Carter had won 14 bouts in a row.

Brooklyn Olson, also from the 2 Rivers Boxing Club in Quesnel, was part of the fight of the night.

She won a unanimous decision in front of a sellout crowd over Adisah Guitard from Prince George.

They were also the youngest competitors, both just 14.

Looking ahead, both Carter and Robyn Grant from 2 Rivers are expected to compete in the provincial championships next month.
