RCMP responded to a call from the Service BC office in 100 Mile House July 27th.
A man was allegedly threatening staff members with an expandable baton. RCMP detained the 28 year old male suspect and identified him as being in breach of a number of conditions. A small amount of methamphetamine as well as two more batons were seized on a search of his vehicle. A gas can reported stolen from Cache Creek the day before was also found.
The Cache Creek resident was remanded into custody and will appear in court in Williams Lake August 1st to face a number of charges, including breach of probation, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession of stolen property.
