Information being sought by Williams Lake RCMP regarding stolen RV

Williams Lake RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance following the theft of a recreational vehicle.

On August 16, at approximately 6:25 am Police received a report that a white 2016 Grand Design Reflection 27RL had been stolen overnight from the parking lot of the self storage on South Lakeside Drive.

“Investigators have learned the RV was allegedly towed from the property by a suspect vehicle described only as a dark-coloured pickup truck with a white passenger-side door,” Staff Sergeant Kris Clark stated in a release.

Police are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the overnight hours, or who may have dash camera or surveillance footage to contact Williams Lake RCMP.

“We are asking anyone who may have seen this RV being towed or who has information about its whereabouts, the suspect vehicle, or its owner, to come forward,” Williams Lake RCMP Staff Sergeant Brad McKinnon stated, “Even seemingly minor details could assist investigators in identifying those responsible and recovering the stolen property.”
