Greyhound Bus Service Doing Something Extra for Santa Clause Parade

The 100 Mile House Santa Clause Parade is approaching and Greyhound Bus Service is looking to do something a little different this year.

Marnie Erickson with Greyhound says they have partnered with the Alberta Large Cars Association in efforts to collect toys for donation, who have already donated 2 pallets full.

Erickson explains why Greyhound wanted to do something extra.

“100 Mile has been hit hard this year and I know there was a lot of families that weren’t really ready or financially able to take 2 to 3 weeks of holidays in the middle of summer.”

Erickson says all the toys donated will be given to the 100 Mile Food Bank to pair with the Christmas hampers.

Donations will be accepted at the Greyhound Bus Service in 100 Mile.
