For the first time in several years, Quesnel’s Board of Education has a new Chair.
Gloria Jackson will take over from Tony Goulet, who held the position for two terms and six years…
“There was some time when i guess you could say it was hectic with schools closures and funding and changes in government and all that but it has been quite memorable. There has been some great stuff that we’ve moved forward on.”
Goulet says that would include the work they’ve done with aboriginal education increasing enrollment and the number of graduates.
He will remain involved as Goulet was elected Vice-Chair.
He says he fully supports Jackson as Chair as she was the Vice Chair and they have worked well as a team in the past and will continue to do so.
