Search Underway for Man And His Step-son In The North Cariboo

A search is underway for two overdue hunters in the North Cariboo.

Quesnel RCMP Sargeant Chris Riddle says 55-year old Glen Brooker and his 10-year old step-son failed to return from their day trip on Sunday (Oct 30) to the Stoney Lake or Narrow Lake area, northeast of Quesnel.

RCMP, along with Quesnel and Prince George Search and Rescue teams are actively looking for the pair but have so far failed to tun up any sign of them.

Brooker is driving a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup with the BC Plate number 8413KR.

Riddle says he was pulling a grey and green Kingfisher riverboat and may be using the boat on lakes or waterways in the area.

They also had their chocolate lab dog with them.

Anyone who was in the area of Narrow Lake/Stoney Lake over the weekend and may have seen Brooker or his grandson or the dog is asked to call the RCMP.
