The Northern Capitals Female Triple-A Midget Hockey team started off the year with three straight wins over the long weekend, all at the expense of the visiting Kootenay Wild.
Caily Mellot from 100 Mile House had a goal and an assist in a 4-0 victory on Friday night.
Quesnel Defenceman Sarah Jarvis picked up an assist as well.
It was 3-1 for the Capitals on Saturday and then 4-1 on Sunday.
Mellott had 2 goals in that last game while Jarvis added another assist.
Quesnel’s Katie Young is also playing for the Capitals this year.
