Results are in from the annual indoor rodeo in Williams Lake…the first event of the BC Rodeo Association season.
The Lake City’s Nik Smith earned a 1-2 split in the Bull Riding with an 83 on “Ellis A List.”
That paid almost $738.
Colton Manuel from 150 Mile had the fastest time in the Steet Wrestling.
A 5 and 1 earned Colton almost $731.
Cody Braaten, from 150 Mile, and his partner were 6 and 7 in the Team Roping for a 2/3 split and
$943 dollars each.
Williams Lake’s Denise Swampy earned more than $668 for 2nd place in the Breakaway Roping.
Quesnel’s Steve Hohmann was the runner-up in the Bareback with a 78.
Denton Spiers, also from Quesnel, was 2nd in the Junior Steer Riding and Brooke Call from the 150 was number two in the Junior Barrel Racing.
The Vanderhoof indoor rodeo will take place this coming weekend.
