It has been a very busy day for the Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department as they attended a couple of structure fires.
Fire Chief Sylvain Gauthier says the first call was at around 8:30 this morning to a trailer on Elm Street in the Red Bluff area.
He says in that case there was just minor damage to the exterior of the trailer.
The Department was  then called to a house fire on Teofil Road in South Quesnel just before noon.
Gauthier says at that point there was no chance to save the home.
He says there were no injuries in either fire and the cause of both remains under investigation.
