Fans of the 100 Mile House Wranglers have alot to cheer about following last night’s 3-1 win over the Summerland Steam.
You can now call them the Okanagan-Shuswap Conference Champions!
Speaking of their fans, Wranglers Coach and GM Dal Hladun, recalls one game in the series when the team was on the road.
“A lot fans made the trip down to Summerland and no word of a lie, we had more fans than they did. And the owner when we were in the lobby we had fans calling him to make sure they could get tickets to get in. so when we won we saluted the fans as if it were a home game”.
Games one and two in the K-I-J-H-L Championship gets started this weekend with the Wranglers on the road to face the Kimberly Dynamiters who are the Kootenay Conference Champs.
