Preparations continue as they get ready for the 91st Annual Williams Lake Stampede to begin.
Last night (MONDAY) the Stampede Association held it’s last monday work bee to put the finishing touches where needed so that everything would be ready for the first rodeo performance this thursday.
We asked Tim Rolph President of the Williams Lake Stampede Association, if anything special is planned for this Canada Day since we’ll be celebrating 150 years as a country.
“We’re going to be doing our usual introduction of the BC Cowboy Hall of Fame members and our lifetime members. Ryan Cook the chainsaw carver will be doing a carving in the arena during intermission and Nicki Flundra with her unbridled horse act will be kinda of special Canada Day theme to her act on Saturday”.
