The 108 ATV Club will be taking three opposition MLAs and several Directors of the Cariboo Regional District up the Gold Rush Snowmobile Trail for three days over the weekend. Mark Redl of the 108 ATV Club hopes that the MLAs will get a great experience of the Cariboo-Chilcotin countryside, and see the need to drive more tourism into this unique part of British Columbia.

The warnings extend north to the North Thompson, 100 Mile, Cariboo, Prince George, and Stuart - Nechako areas, which could see highs up to 34 degrees. The BC Wildfire Service says the combination of rising temperatures, fuel drying and more dry lightning increases the probability of new wildfires starting this week.

The 100 Mile House RCMP have received reports of mailboxes being broken into at the 4000 block of Telqua Drive near the 108 Mile Golf Resort. RCMP says Canada Post has been notified and is aware of the incidents that have been reported over the last few weeks.
