District of 100 Mile House accepting 2024 Business Façade Improvement Applications

The District of 100 Mile House has announced the acceptance of the Business Façade Improvement Applications.

This will be the ninth year the District has been extended the grant from Northern Development Initiative Trust.

In a release from the District, the program is meant to provide grant funding to businesses to improve retail and commercial facades within 100 Mile House, and make business areas more appealing.

A 50 percent reimbursement grant will be provided by the District, up to a maximum of $5,000 per building.

Some eligible façade improvements include new exterior lighting, architectural features, façade painting siding, entrances, awnings, and some accessibility improvements.

Mayor Maureen Pinkney said “We encourage businesses to take advantage of this program to improve their business façade and continue investment in our community.”

Applications and to find out if your project is eligible, you can visit their website here, or call the District office at 250-395-2434.
