Arts And Culture Organizations In BC Applaud Funding From Province

$34.5 million dollars will be shared amongst several arts and culture organizations throughout BC including two in the Cariboo.

The funding was provided in response to the arts and culture sector’s call for support while it continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a an Arts and Culture Resilience Supplement recipient, Quesnel and District Arts Council will get $8,059 and another $25,000 through the Arts Infrastructure Program.

Community Arts Council of Williams Lake will be getting a little under 5-thousand dollars.

The Province provided similar support to the events sector back in February with a $30 million investment in the Fairs, Festivals and Events program.
