Quesnel: Notice of Election By Voting

The Chief Electoral Officer for the City of Quesnel has officially declared that an Election by Voting is necessary to elect one Mayor and six Councillors.

The terms of office will be for four years, starting December 2014.

The candidates for election are:

Mayor – One (1) to be elected

  • Bob Simpson
  • Mary Sjostrom

Councillor – Six (6) to be elected

  • John Wilson Brisco
  • Ed Coleman
  • Scott Elliott
  • Ernest Gamache
  • Kyle Jones
  • Ron Paull
  • Laurey-Anne Roodenburg
  • Shawna Siemens
  • Sushil Thapar

General voting day in Quesnel is Saturday, Nov. 15 from 8 am to 8 pm at Quesnel City Hall, Correlieu Senior Secondary School, and Dragon Lake Elementary School.
