Not guilty of First Degree Murder !
That was the verdict handed down by Madame Justice Beames in Supreme Court in Kamloops for 32-year old Wyatt Boffa.
His trial was held in late August and throughout most of September.
Boffa and 24-year old Daine Stump were both charged with first degree murder in connection with this case.
Stump pleaded guilty to manslaughter at the start of the trial and is due to be sentenced on October 18th.
The charges against both men were in connection with a suspicious death in the Deep Creek area in December of 2018.
Williams Lake RCMP were called to a residence on Mountain House Road where they discovered the body of 43-year old Jamie Sellars Baldwin.
