Accused from June Drug Bust Appear in 100 Mile Court

The accused in June’s massive drug bust in the South Cariboo made their first appearance in provincial court Tuesday.

Charges of production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking have been formally laid on Richard Poudrier (30 years old), Cameron Krajnyak (23), Douglas Middlemiss (28) and Robert Webster (60).

Poudrier will also stand trial for four additional charges relating to firearms confiscated as part of the June 17th RCMP operation.

The four men will appear again before courts on December eighth in 100 Mile House.

In addition to the aforementioned firearms, the Abel Lake Road bust also saw a truck, an ATV and between 1 and 2 million dollars worth of marijuana seized.
