Quiet Halloween for RCMP, Fire Rescue in 100 Mile House

In a twist fitting of an M. Night Shamalan film, it was a quiet Halloween weekend for emergency services across the Cariboo.

There was one call in 100 Mile House that sounded like it might be something says RCMP Corporal Brian Lamb, but it turned out to just be a zealous decorator:

The only thing that I see here – that is actually pretty funny – is that somebody hung what appeared to be a body from the mailboxes on Tatton Station Road, but it turned out to be nothing.

Elsewhere in the South Cariboo, there was a single noise complaint and a couple of impaired drivers in what may have been the quietest holiday weekend in quite some time.

100 Mile Fire Rescue had a similarly slow weekend, with only a couple of medical calls to attend.

Something going on in the Cariboo you think people should know about?
