Movember Sees Awareness, Funds, and Facial Hair Grown

Sunday saw the official start of the Mo-vember Foundation’s annual campaign to raise funds and awareness about men’s health issues.

The Foundation has altered its approach slightly this year says Director of Community Engagement Jesse Hayman:

“This year, on top of growing moustaches, mo-bro’s and mo-sista’s can also sign up to move. Move is essentially a thirty day commitment to physical activity. We know that the best thing that guy’s can do for their health – and anyone really – is to be physically active.

Mo-vember is the leading global charity focusing on men’s health and has seen more than five million Canadians participate, and raised more than six-hundred seventy-five million dollars for the cause through the end of last year.
