The Cariboo Regional District is temporarily suspending some recycling collection due to unprecedented flooding and transportation challenges.
The CRD says there is limited access to end markets, and they cannot accept some materials, including:
- Foam trays
- Takeout containers
- Cups
- Foam cushion packaging used to protect electronics
The CRD advises residents to hold onto these materials so they can be recycled at a later date.
