Trio of Cariboo Barrel Racers on the verge of qualifying for the Canadian Finals

The Cariboo will likely have three competitors in this year’s Canadian Finals Rodeo in the Barrel Racing.

Events in Olds and Medicine Hat, Alberta were wiped out this past weekend due to COVID, which leaves just one event left on the schedule for the regular season.

That is slated for Hand Hills, Alberta this coming weekend.

Brooke Wills, from Quesnel, is sitting comfortably in 5th in the Barrel Racing standings with $8,025.51  in earnings.

Kirsty White of 150 Mile is 7th with $6,609.81, and Quesnel’s Mariah Mannering is 9th with $5,800.27.

The top 12 qualify for the Canadian Finals that will take place in Red Deer from November 3rd through the 7th.
