Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo candidates debate on the environment

The candidates for the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo candidates took to Zoom Wednesday night to debate on issues regarding the environment.

Candidates were asked four nationally determined questions, four locally determined questions, and some questions that were gathered from the audience.

Most questions revolved around the environment, but some were focused on other issues such as reconciliation, the pandemic, and economic recovery.

Candidates were given 45 seconds for each question, and the order the candidates answered each question was determined randomly.

Candidates were also given two rebuttals for the whole debate.

Candidates who took part included:

  • Wayne Allan – Independent
  • Iain Currie – Green Party
  • Corally Delwo – PPC
  • Jesse McCormick – Liberals
  • Bob O’Brien – Independent
  • Bill Sundhu – NDP

Conservative candidate Frank Caputo was the only candidate not in attendance.

The whole debate can be viewed at this link.
