Identity Theft Possible After Hits on Mailboxes in Lac La Hache, 93 Mile

Residents of Lac La Hache and 93-Mile need to be on the lookout for potential identity fraud after a couple incidents of this past week involving mail theft.

The larger of the two incidents saw an undisclosed amount of mail stolen in a break and enter on the post office in Lac La Hache

When it comes to identity fraud, time is of the essence says RCMP Corporal Brian Lamb

If there are people that do – as a result of these incidents – feel that they are a victim of an identity theft, they need to call the RCMP and let us know as soon as possible. 

RCMP are still actively investigating both incidents and encourage anyone with information to call Crimestoppers
