Regional District Presents Gift to 100 Mile and District Council

Happy belated birthday…

That was the message presented by a delegation from the Cariboo Regional District at last night’s meeting of the 100 Mile House District Council.

Al Richmond, Chair of the Regional District, congratulated council on a successful celebration that was enjoyed by all

We wanted to come down and present this to council – so that you folks had it and our true appreciation of the partnerships we have and the work we do together. I thought the 50th thing went really well, the week long celebration was well received by everyone inside and outside of the municipal boundaries

A gift of a carved plaque made of local wood was presented before district council as a token of the milestone and of the relationship between the two bodies of local government.

Something going on in the Cariboo you think people should know about?
