RCMP Respond To Scary Incident In Prince George Neighbourhood

Pricne George RCMP responded to a report of multiple shots fired at around 11-15 on Saturday night in the 500 block of Alward Street.

Police say they responded to an unoccupied, insecure residence.

Information provided by witnesses, as well as evidence at the scene, have led the RCMP to believe that there was an exchange of gunfire between occupants in a vehicle and occupants in the residence.

Police say at least one of the bullets pierced an exterior wall of the neighbouring home.

However, no injuries have been reported.

A Police Dog Service team recovered a firearm near the residence and tracked the sent for several blocks but no suspects were located.

RCMP say the two adult residents of the house have been located and spoken to.

An investigation continues.
