Cariboo Regional District sees more advance voting ballots cast in 2026 election

This election season has brought more voters than the last silly season so far.

Over two days of advance voting, 870 people across the Cariboo Regional District’s electoral areas cast ballots at advance polling stations. That’s almost ten times the 96 early ballots cast across the two days of advance voting in the 2022 election.

Yesterday (Tuesday, Oct 13) was the last early voting day in the CRD, with 37 ballots cast in Williams Lake, 129 in Quesnel, and 228 in 100 Mile House, for a total of 394.

Last week, 476 ballots were cast on the first day of advance voting.

General Election Day is on October 17th, information on where the polling stations are and their open hours can be found on the regional district’s and the respective cities’ websites.
