Emergency Services unavailable until 8 tonight (August 24) in 100 Mile House

100 Mile House and area residents are being advised of temporary changes to emergency department hours at 100 Mile District General Hospital.

Interior Health said emergency services will be unavailable today (August 24) from 7 am to 8 pm and that patients can access emergency care at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake during this time.

All other inpatient services will continue at 100 Mile District General Hospital.

Interior Health said people in the community who need life-threatening emergency care should always call 9-1-1 for transport to the nearest available and appropriate facility.

This will be the 38th time this year that the E.R. Has been closed in 100 Mile House.
