Stolen vehicle recovered and 1 person arrested in the South Cariboo

100 Mile House RCMP were able to recover a stolen vehicle with a little help.

Sargeant Brian Lamb says on August first they received a report that the vehicle had been spotted at a residence along Highway 24.

“Police attended and located a grey 2005 Chevrolet Silverado that had been reported stolen the previous week. An adult female found inside the vehicle was arrested for possession of stolen property,” Lamb said.

The vehicle was seized and will undergo further forensic examination as part of the investigation which Lamb says remains ongoing.
